New Tempest App in comparison to Smart Weather App

Can I see forecast rain amount in the new Tempest App? In the Smart Weather App, I could get the Dark Sky forecast, which had forecast rain amounts, but in the new app, it takes me to the Tempest forecast screen. So it is NOT just like it was if you select the icon in the upper right. I want to have an idea HOW MUCH rain is forecast, not just that it might rain. Am I missing where to find it?

@PlymouthMN1 Only the Rain Chance percentage is shown in the forecast. No actual forecasted rain amount is shown.

The cards are the same but one reason DarkSky isn’t there is written about here: Tempest Response to Apple’s Purchase of Dark Sky.

Is there a plan to add forecast rain amounts? Seems like a pretty basic reason to want to have a forecast at all, especially if you’re using the weather station for controlling irrigation for instance.

@PlymouthMN1 Not that I am aware of, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t in the roadmap of future added features. It may come to the app one day.
