I suspect that it is nothing more than a rolling change in the current Tempest system offering as inventory runs out, not a new SKU/product for purchase…

I wonder what they’ll be charging for it. I would love to see a side by side spec comparison.
That would be unfortunate. The Tempest rollout was SIX years ago and there have been no significant product updates since then. Their product line is looking pretty stale.
Bigger solar, newer/better sensors, and replaceable battery hopefully is a next-gen product with a different SKU and the same or lower price (ignoring tariff lunacy chaos).
(and yes - I know Davis is far more stagnant and Ecowitt has so many overlapping products it’s crazy the other way)

Would be awesome, although unlikely if they split it back into an air and sky sensor again too.

Thank you. Still need to see some actual engineering specifications and an updated manual showing how the battery can be replaced.
I’m guessing an opening/door in the casing next to the power button. Like a plug-in module?
