Hi …Tempest offered me a 50% discount on a new station. The one that quit on me I bought used and Tempest repaired it for me for 30 bucks and it lasted 2 years. For something I paid 30 bucks for repairs, I got my money’s worth. Anyway. Does anyone have the new 2026 model ? Has any one compared the measurements to the older models? Thank you for any comments.
Looked like a Tempest, acted like a Tempest for me. Same kinds of readings from the earliest days of Tempest beta testing to the Tempest’26 when I tried it out some months ago.
Thank you. That’s good to hear. I do have another unit that is 5 years old and it has been rock solid and pretty accurate with rain totals when matched up with my Tropo rain tube. It’ll be fun to see how the new one compares.
