Hmmm. Running Linux seems complicated (at least to me) and leaving complexity behind was a big motivation behind my moving to a Chromebook. I’ll chew on it, thanks for the suggestion.
Hi oh, i have missed seeing these messages (if you posted on the WD support forum I would have seen them )
re the Mac version and the history data
I will test that here
Hello - real newbie here, and struggling to get the software past step 2, choosing the com port. My station works over wi-fi, so I really don’t know how/what I’m meant to do here? If I say it’s a HID station (no idea what that even means), then the software just crashes out and I don’t see how to connect over wifi. Is there an installation guide for this software somewhere? Any help is most welcome, thanks!
this is a third party software. Go to the first post and follow the link and you’ll end on weather-display site where there is a support forum specific for this software.
Also when you post there do tell what computer system etc. They’ll be quicker to help you out knowing exactly what you have/did
If you using weather display for weatherflow access then you do not use com port.
See videos here
In weatherstation types , click on Control Panel, weatherflow tab and enter station number BEFORE toggling enable.
