Hi Gary,
It seems like sometimes when I hit the reply button, the reply post doesn’t include the icon/name of the person being replied to. Maybe it’s my unfamiliarity with the system or switching between iPhone and laptop.

Ah, Okay
If your reply directly follows the post you are replying to, it will not show the icon. This is how the forum is designed.
Ken… Nice setup! I have the same enclosure for my Air unit. I have been trying to figure out how I would connect the Air and Sky… and this may be it!
How high off the ground is the 4x4? And how high is the Sky unit?
You can probably make reasonable guesses from the photo.
The pole is 10.5’ and it’s a couple/three feet off the ground
The pole is 10.5’ so the 4x4 looks like it’s buried 1-2 feet in the ground
Typically a 4x4 is 8’ long
So 6’ and 13’ or so would be likely answers in the ballpark…
Vince… I agree I can make reasonable guesses… but it’s also just as easy to ask!
Hi Gary. It’s an 8 foot 4x4. In the ground about 1.5’ + one 40 pound bag of quick-set concrete. The pole is a 10.5’ fence top rail from Lowe’s.
It vibrates a little in heavy wind but I have not had any false rain indications.
