Light color scheme - even with plum

I would like an option of a light color scheme. Currently it’s a low contrast dark plum on medium purple with purple text. It’s Purple On Purple On Purple which makes it hard to read at a glance. Not enough contrast, not enough brightness. It looks like dark mode, but if you turn on dark mode it gets even worse. I need a bright background and contrasted text to be able to easily read the screen.

Ironically the favicon.ico (https://tempestwx.com/favicon.ico) would be a perfect amount of contrast while maintaining the new “branding”.

I hadn’t been able to put my finger on it, but you’re right: it’s purple on purple on purple which requires – at least for me – a lot of focusing to find what I’m looking for
